An important decision when creating a business, is to choose the name you’re going to put.

The name we choose to be part of the image of the business, so it could be a factor in the success or failure of it.

To select the name of a business must take into account two factors: our tastes and marketing implications it may have.

We must choose a name that is to our liking, with whom we feel an affinity, but on the other hand, we must take into account the implications for the marketing or advertising you may have.

We strive to be a jazzy name, to provide consumers with the idea or business concept, and what differentiates us from other competitors, or that in which we highlight.

In other words, the name should tell consumers what it is about business, and what you can find or expect.

Must capture the idea or business concept, for example, can be a funny or catchy name if you want to give the image of a family business or “good atmosphere”, or, on the other hand, we can choose a serious or elegant name, if image we want to be a serious business or “first”.

We can, for example, choosing a name as a name (not necessarily have to be ours), or the name of the locality where the business is located (or some other location that we want to relate to the business).

One way of finding a name is using the technique of brainstorming, where we collect all the names that we might occur, we can find or suggest our friends or relatives, and then from among them, choose the more we like and think that could best represent the idea of our business.

Another way to find a name for our business, is looking in the phone book or online business, and look for those names that can inspire us to create our own.

Finally, if we can not find a name with which we feel security, you can always resort to some specialist in the subject, not only companies that could help us in choosing the name, but we also could help branding, logos, designs and colors of the business
